Aromatherapy That Stops the Pain!

I’m a firm believer in the healing properties of aromatherapy. I suffer from painful joints and neuropathy in the hands and feet among other aches and pains. I’ve decided to make my own custom blends.

I started with selecting the essential oils I would use. A majority of my essential oils are from Eden’s Garden. Their oils are high quality, affordable, and they have free US shipping.

I purchased labels for the oils.

The labels make the oil bottles easy to identify when they’re in their storage boxes.

These graduated plastic transfer pipettes came with an essential oil storage box. They’re sold on Amazon for six bucks.

The pipettes came with generic labels and some blank ones that I can write on. I also got a key gadget to open my roll-on bottles.

I got these roll-on bottles during a haul at Ollie’s. Check out the details here Aromatherapy Haul.

You’ll need carrier oils to blend with the essential oils. Essential oils are potent and can irritate the skin if used alone. The formula is: 1 ounce of carrier oil to 12 drops of essential oil.

Let’s start with the must-have custom blends. Feel free to use your choice of carrier oil.

Peppermint Oil and Avocado Oil

Peppermint essential oil helps with muscle and nerve pain, and sore joints.

Avocado oil reduces the inflammation of joints, and it alleviates pain from osteoarthritis. It also moisturizes the skin and hair.

Tea Tree Oil and Castor Oil

Tea Tree essential oil is an anti-inflammatory, heals wounds, and clears up skin conditions. I keep multiple bottles in the house.

Castor oil is known for its healing properties. It’s an anti-inflammatory that eases joint pain. It’s great for Rheumatoid arthritis which I have.

Eucalyptus Oil and Avocado and Hemp Oils

Eucalyptus oil is an anti-inflammatory, a pain reliever, and it heals sores, cuts, and wounds. It’s a moisturizer bursting with anti-oxidants. Eucalyptus is my favorite medicinal essential oil.

The last two aromatherapy recipes are a blend of essential oils.

Muscle Aches and Joint Pain (Lower Extremeties)

Essential Oils: Cypress, Sweet Marjoram, Lavender, Lime, Pettigrain, Rosemary Mint, Frankinsense, and Mandarin.

This recipe has a strong scent so I use it on my legs and feet. The lime and mandarin lighten the scent a little. I mix the oils with Hemp oil since it’s excellent for easing muscle and joint pain. You can also add another carrier oil like Swee Almond or Grapeseed oil.

During my Ollie’s aromatherapy haul, I bought this Nature’s Origin Aromatherapy synergy oil. This has orange, clementine, and tangerine essential oils. I mixed it with Sweet Almond oil and added some mandarin. I adore citrus smells. They’re invigorating and just smell yummy!

Making my own custom blends was easy. However, the bottles are two small. I’ve already used most of them up. Im going to buy bigger roller balls like this set on Amazon Cobalt Blue Roller Balls.

Stay blessed and stay safe!
