I stocked up on summer candles during the Bath and Body Works Semi-Annual Sale. I’ve burned through a few, but most of my reviews are based off cold smells or candles I haven’t lit yet.

There was a lot of hype around the new SaltWater Taffy candle, so I bought it. Unfortunately, it doesn’t smell like saltwater taffy.  It just smells sweet like candy, but the scent could have been stronger.

Aloha Kiwi Passionfruit has an addictive scent containing, passionfruit, kiwi, coconut, and pineapple. The candle smelled wonderful but didn’t have a strong scent. I have this in an air freshener which I could smell better.

Wakiki Beach Coconut has notes of coconut, saltwater, and sun-bleached woods. This is an exotic scent that I bought in body care as well. It smells like how I imagine Wakiki smells like.

 

Rainforest Gardenia. It smells like white gardenia, sweet apple water, bamboo, and white woods. How could you go wrong with this candle?

 

I purchased one of the travel candles called New York City which is the scent Champagne Toast. It has notes of champagne, orange, and berries. I love this scent so much that I purchased the body care as well.

I purchased some of the Independence Day collection. These look great if you have the Farmstead decor theme in your home like I do.

Heirloom Apple was brought back in the 4th of July collection. This has notes of Golden and Honeycrisp apples which are my favorite and sugarcane.  I did a test burn, and the candle smells like sweet and tart apples. I love the packaging, so I’m not going to burn this candle. I’ll buy it in different packaging and burn that one.

I just had to purchase the Beach Grass candle. It has notes of morning dew, rain-soaked greens, and white freesia. It’s a nice floral scent, but it’s weak. I suggest burning in a small room.

Pink Apple Punch is a mixture of Green Apple and Honeycrisp Apples with melon mixed in. It’s a delicious smelling candle.

 

 

This is an addictive peach and champagne smelling candle. I love the floral packaging.

Suntan has notes of citrus, orange, and coconut. This is a strong scent that fills the room. I really like this candle and bought two small single wicks to burn as well.

Bonfire S’mores has notes of dark chocolate, marshmallows, and cinnamon Graham crackers. I could sniff this candle all day. It left the house smelling delicious!

The weaved packaging has texture to it. It’s beautiful when lit.

On cold smell, this is one of my favorites. Firecracker Pop has notes of red cherry and citrus. The packaging is amazing and it smells like cherry soda. I can’t burn this until I get a backup which I haven’t found yet.

Ciao Bella! On cold smell, this smells just like sweet Tiramisu. I can smell the expresso, sponge cake and cream. I can’t wait to burn it.

Blueberry Pie is a big hit. It smells like blueberries and pie crust.

 

 

It becomes a luminary when lit.  This candle is strong. It smells like you’re baking a blueberry pie. I will burn this now and the backup candle during the holidays. I may get a few more backups.

 

 

Hot Fudge Sundae has fudge, vanilla bean ice cream and whipped cream notes in it. This candle smells like you’re sitting in front of a huge hot fudge sundae.

Summer Boardwalk. Caramel popcorn, Taffy apples, and sweet cream.  On cold smell, I can detect all the ingredients. This is a popular classic. When burned, it smells like you’re walking through a fair or festival.

Watermelon Lemonade has notes of watermelon ice, sparkling water, and Meyer lemon. It smells likes its name and has a strong throw. This is a hot summer afternoon candle.

Lemon Mint Leaf.  Sparkling lemon zest, spearmint leaves, verbena sprigs. You can never go wrong with lemon or mint. This is one of my favorites.

The fall candles are already online and in the stores. There is PB & J, Banana Cream Pie, Peach Cobbler, Warm Apple Pie, Blueberry Maple Pancakes, and lots more.

I’m a pumpkin girl, so I’ll start purchasing the pumpkin candles which are already available.
