Tuscan-Style Pork Chops & Salsa Verde

This was a tasty Blue Apron meal that took a twist. Blue Apron delivers my meal boxes on Tuesday,  but I didn’t cook this meal until Sunday. The kale had wilted, so I improvised and cooked my yummy canned greens.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Boneless, Center-Cut Pork Chops
  • 1 can of French cut green beans
  • Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic-roughly chopped
  • 1/3 of a small onion
  • ¾ lb Golden Or Red Potatoes
  • ⅓ cup Salsa Verde
  • Mrs. Dash Seasoning
  • Garlic powder
  • Lawry’s Seasoning Salt
  • Fresh Ground Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp Tuscan Spice Blend (Ground Fennel Seeds, Whole Fennel Seeds, Ground Rosemary, & Ground Sage)

Directions:

Slice the potatoes into circles or any shape you like. Drizzle with olive oil, and Tuscan Spice Blend, salt, and pepper. Bake for 20 minutes.

Heat olive oil in a frying pan. Season pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and the Tuscan Spice blend. Cook five to six minutes on both sides.

Pour green beans in a pot and add chopped garlic, onion, Mrs. Dash, salt, pepper and a tablespoon of butter.

Pour the Verde sauce on top of the pork chops. This meal may not be pretty but it was delicious. The pork chops were juicy and seasoned just right. My green beans hit the spot.
