If you don’t want to cook a whole turkey, an easy alternative is a turkey breast. Jennie O has made things even easier. Now you can cook turkey breast without even thawing it. It even comes with gravy and costs around ten bucks.
The breast comes already seasoned in a cooking bag and takes about 90 minutes to cook.
Simply put the turkey in a roasting pan and put three 1/2 inch slits in the bag. I added sprigs of rosemary, thyme, and sage into the slits for extra flavor.
Pop it into the oven at 375 degrees and remove when the thermometer measures at 165 degrees. Pour the gravy packet that comes with the turkey into a saucepan and add water. You’re done.
Moist turkey breast with a delicious gravy. Can’t beat this cooking shortcut.
