For several years, I’ve been getting the Ipsy bag and Birchbox monthly subscriptions for $10 a month. I decided to add the Sephora Play box to the list, and I’m glad I did.
All of the products come inside this bag which is cute and can be repurposed.
There is a flyer included with a pass for 50 Sephora Beauty Insider points.
In the Sephora Play Box, you receive six high-end beauty products. The other boxes only give you five samples and some of them are low quality.
Look at these goodies. Let’s break them down.
My Burberry Blush perfume has a floral aroma with notes of pomegranate, lemon, apple, rose petal, wisteria, and jasmine.
Caudalie Vinosource serum with grape water and hyaluronic acid. I’ve used this serum before and it’s fabulous.
Sephora’s lip gel in Perfect Nude. This is a nice formula that provides sheer coverage with a little pink tint. It works perfectly for people like to wear lipgloss.
Sephora’s Pink Nude gloss reminds me of Rihanna’s Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer in the color Fenty Glow. It has a non-sticky formula with a rose tint, and best of all, it smells like delicious.
Moroccanoil is an argan hair treatment that works wonders for all hair types. I’ve purchased this oil before, and it’s pricey at $34 for 1.7 ounces. So to get a trial size bottle is a score!
I’m excited to test out this charcoal mask. The instructions say to put a warm towel on your face to open the pores and then apply the mask. It’s supposed to clear out your pores and leave your skin soft. $27
I’m on the hunt for a new mascara. The Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara has gotten rave reviews so I will give it a test run. $26.
I’m very pleased with my first Sephora Play box. I’ll make good use of the samples, and I can’t wait to see what next month brings.
Stay blessed,
Barbie
