*This shopping haul was done before the COVID quarantine. As a high-risk person with an autoimmune disease (Rheumatoid Arthritis/RA) and diabetes, I only leave my home for doctor appointments and groceries. I always wear a mask and gloves. Stay safe out there.
I was at Ollie’s stocking up when I came across loads of essential oils marked down to $2.99. They’d originally sold for $9.00. I looked up the company Gurunanda. These were high-quality essential oils sourced from all over the world with an emphasis on preserving the environment.
I hit a gold mine. I could try new scents without it costing me an arm and a leg. I was able to find two pre-made roll-on bottles. This is Rose Kiss which is good for calming and rejuvenating. It’s 100% rose oil mixed with fractionated coconut oil. It has a light floral scent that smells just like a rose.
Immortelle Kiss with Helichrysum. This roll-on is good for those areas that are beginning to show wear and tear like my neck and hands.
I like synergy blends which are a combination of essential oils. This is Energy which has peppermint, cardamom, black pepper, turmeric, and more essential oils.
This is Unwind and it does exactly what the name says It has a lovely floral scent.
I found this Nature’s Origin Aromatherapy synergy oil for invigoration. This has orange, clementine, and tangerine essential oils. For some reason, I love citrus smells.
Each of the Gurunanda essential oils came with an empty roll-on bottle. I plan to combine my new oils with my stockpile of essential oils to make my own custom roll-ons.
I got this storage unit on Amazon. This is where I store my medicinal essentials oils. I have two smaller units on my nightstand and the family room. The bedroom unit stores relaxing and sleeping essential oils. The unit in the family contains energy and floral scents.
The medicinal unit has slanted slots for roll-ons, and it looks good when it’s closed.
It also came with droppers and labels. 100% pure essential oils have to be mixed with carrier oils or they could damage your skin. My favorites are sweet almond, hemp, and avocado oils.
Lime. This has a fresh and sweet scent. It’s stimulating and cleansing.
Bergamot is another citrus scent. It’s uplifting.
I already have Sweet Marjoram, but I had to pick up a backup. First of all, I love the smell of this essential oil, and it’s a pain reliever.
Petitgrain. This is a floral and citrus scent. It’s good for balancing and relaxing.
I made a mistake with this purchase. It’s Digestive and the smell is disgusting.
Thank goodness, I already have a bottle of Digestive Ease from Eden’s Garden. It has most of the same ingredients as the Gurunanda brand, but the smell is not overpowering.
I’ve ordered some additional essential oils from Eden’s Garden and hemp oil from Amazon. Once these items arrive, I’ll begin making my roll-ons. Of course, I’ll share my recipes.
Stay blessed and stay safe!
