These 111Skin Rose Gold Brightening Facial Masks are favorites of makeup artists to the stars. They contain 24-karat gold and Rosa Damascena. I received them in my FabFitFun subscription box. You get five masks for $160.

Celebrities rave about these masks, but do they really work? I gave one a try. The mask smells amazing. It’s supposed to do what most maks do. It diminishes wrinkles, moisturizes, and clears up hyperpigmentation.

Unfortunately, I was unimpressed. So I waited a week and tried again. Nope. After I use average masks, my skin is smooth and soft. I can feel and see the difference. Didn’t happen with this overhyped, overpriced mask.  111SKIN is a luxury line that targets people with large disposal incomes.

Will I buy these masks? Uhm! No. I’ll use my last three as special treats. They feel great on the skin and the smell is alluring. If you want to try a mask, you can get them at Nordstrom for $32 each.
