Urban Decay: Edgy Colors for Lips and Eyes

I continue my series on makeup company reviews with Urban Decay which has always been a favorite. However, it’s pricey. I’ll review some of the products I purchased at Marshall’s and ULTA at discounted rates.

SAM_7653Urban Decay Revolution High Definition Lip Gloss in the color, Bittersweet. This lavender is beautiful by itself or with the Nightmoth lipliner by MAC.

My lips really pop when I put the Bittersweet gloss on top of the Coven lipstick by Kat Von D.

Urban Decay Liquid Moondust eyeshadows.  I use these to add a serious pop of color to my eye looks. They’re a great buy.

The bottom color is Vega. It’s a beautiful purple with glitter. Pretty! Pretty! Spacetime is a dazzling bronze hue.

Urban Decay 8-hour Blush in the color Fetish. This is a medium nude pink shade. I paid $10.00 and it sells for $26 on Sephora’s website. This gets a thumbs down. Just not my shade.

Urban Decay Vice Metallicized liquid lipstick in the color, Vanity. This lipstick is too dark and the formula is crap. You want to avoid this one.

Urban Decay Vice Special Effects Lip Topcoats. I have Ritual (blue), Regulate (gray/silver), and Fever (peach) These add sparkle to matte lipsticks and they last for hours.

I.Game of Thrones (1)

I stopped by Ulta to check out the Urban Decay Game of Thrones palette. I saw a Youtube video on the palette and every color is perfect. Repeat…every color is perfect! It costs $65. I didn’t buy it, but I’ve got my eye on the whole collection.

However, I did purchase the Born To Run palette for $29. It was still on sale from Memorial Day Weekend. I love this palette.

It has the dark edgy colors that I like. I’m not afraid of glitter or smokey eyes and this palette delivers. It’s great for trips. Just an all-around fabulous buy. However, I’m still eyeing the Game of Thrones palette.

Stay blessed,

Barbie
