I had given up on Shea Moisture hair products until I tried the Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Intensive Hydration line. Honey is my hair’s best friend, and this line delivers. It moisturizes and repairs dry damaged hair. Since I color my hair, this shampoo and deep conditioner give my hair the TLC it needs. The shampoo really gets my hair clean. I only wash with it one time to keep from stripping the natural oils from my hair.
Currently, this is by far my favorite conditioner. In addition to manuka honey and mafura oil, it has African rock fig and baobab oil. This synergy of oils has an amazing impact on my Afro-textured hair.
The hair masque is a thick, whipped cream that smells delicious. I have a love affair with this masque. I slather it on, run my wide-tooth comb through my hair; put on a plastic cap; and lounge around the house for an hour. When I rinse it out, my hair is soft and moisturized. I bought the shampoo and masque at Sally’s Beauty Supply for around $10 each.
Let me know if you give it a try. Also, let me know about any good deep conditioners I should try.
Stay blessed.
