If you like comfort food? I’ve got a recipe for you. It’s easy and you just need a handful of ingredients. This recipe is great on a cold winter weekend evening.
Ingredients
1 bag of cooked turkey meatballs
1/2 a cup of Sweet Baby Ray’s Chipotle barbecue sauce
1 can of Dole pineapple chunks
1/2 a green pepper chopped
1/2 a small red onion chopped
Garlic powder
Sea salt and ground pepper as needed
Parsley
1 package of Bob Evans pre-cooked mashed potatoes
Directions
In a crockpot add the package of pre-cooked turkey meatballs, pineapple chunks, garlic powder, barbecue sauce, green pepper, onion. Turn the crockpot on low and let the meatballs simmer for 3 to 4 hours.
You can make mashed potatoes from scratch. I’m too lazy, so I heat up a package of Bob Evans pre-cooked mashed potatoes. Serve the meatballs with lots of sauce over the mashed potatoes, and sprinkle dried parsley on top. It looks good, doesn’t it? The mixture of the sweet pineapple and the spicy barbecue sauce is amazing.
Enjoy and stay blessed!
