Lima Beans and Canadian Bacon


1 bag of dried lima beans

2 to 3 stalks of celery with the tops

1 medium onion

1 green bell pepper

Canadian bacon or ham


4 cups of chicken broth

2 to 3 cups of water

2 bay leaves

Seasonings: sea salt,  ground black pepper, sea kelp, Mrs. Dash no-salt seasonings, rosemary, basil.


Put everything in the slow cooker and low heat and let it cook for 4 to 5 hours.


It’s ready when it looks like this. So good.
