Fall & Winter Favorites 2016

I’ve got some tried and true favorites I want to share with you. These are items I’ve used for several months (some of them for years) and they have become favorites.

I picked up this color therapy book at Costco on sale for $5.99. It has quickly become my favorite coloring book.

The book has  hard front and back covers, so you can open it and color while relaxing on your couch or riding in a vehicle. No hard surface needed.

Nubian’s shea butter with coconut and papaya is moisturizing and smells amazing. The body wash is creamy and has a generous lather. These items are must-haves during the harsh winter months. They’re available at most convenience stores and online for around $10 a piece.

Spongelle’s body wash infused buffers are fantastic. These are the best sponge exfoliators I’ve ever used. Not too hard on the skin and they come in a variety of floral and fruity scents. They can be purchased here Spongelle.

Dr. Woods liquid raw black shea butter soap is always in my home. I’ve used it for years and even give it as gifts. You can wash everything from your hair, body, to your floors with this stuff. I purchased mine at Dr. Woods Black Soap. I also love Alaffia African Black Soap with peppermint. The scent of this soap is heavenly. It’s creamy and has a nice lather. I use on my body, but I also clean my bathroom with it. It gets everything spotless. You can find the Alaffia soap at Whole Foods. Here’s a post I did on my favorite soaps The Magic of Black Soap.

After a tough day, nothing is more relaxing to me than the Bath & Body Works stress relief candle with eucalyptus and spearmint. This is part of the aromatherapy line which includes some great shower gels and lotions. I always keep these around for a quick spa day.

I purchased this glass at the Dollar Tree for one buck. It’s a nice heavy glass that impressed me so much that I went back and grabbed three more. I use this glass for both hot and cold drinks. It’s perfect.

I found these water bottles on Eddie Bauer’s website. They don’t sweat and have great flip caps and a nice handle. Great to use at work or while working out.

I can not describe how delicious these little cherry Italian ice cups are, and they’re only one dollar at the Dollar Tree.

I like to make my own treats with these Betchsicles ice pop molds. You can fill the molds with smoothies, liquor, orange juice…anything you want. Let the liquid freeze and you have homemade popsicles. You can buy the champagne-shaped molds here Betchsicles

I made my own garlic and herb infused olive oil and it was incredibly tasty. I used it in salads; as a dipping sauce, and drizzled it over pasta. Here’s the link to my post on how to make infused olive oil Garlic Infused Olive Oil.

No more storage worries when it comes to beans, nuts, and pasta. Pour them into a mason jar and they stay fresh. Details here Mason Jars for Storage. I just love this storage idea.

I received this Pur Cosmetics Nude Collection eyeshadow palette in my fabfitfun subscription box. This kit is a dupe for the very popular Urban Decay Naked2 palette. The Nude Collection palette costs the same as the Naked 2 palette (around $50). It’s paraben, silicone, and fragrance-free. They also don’t test on animals. You can buy the Nude Collection here  Pur Cosmetics Nude Collection. These are my go-to eyeshadows. They blend easily and last all day.

This is a Teeez Cosmetics lipstick that I received in my Ipsy bag. I love the packaging, the color, and even the smell of this lipstick. Here’s the link to the website Teeez Cosmetics. I’m obsessed with their products.

And my number one favorite is…

My Happy Planner from MAMBI/Me And My Big Ideas.

I love decorating my planners and staying organized. It’s a great way to showcase my creativity. You can find them at Michael’s and with a coupon, they’re 40 to 50 percent off.

These are my favorites heading into the new year. I can’t wait to see what goodies I’ll discover in 2017.

Stay blessed,
