I’m a fall baby and this week is all about leaves for me. I selected pictures and colors that reflect the changing landscape of the season. To create this look, I chose plaid and green scrapbook paper and cut them to fit the blocks of the planner.
This week I decided to let the plaid boxes stand out, so I didn’t use washi tape to line the boxes.
There’s plenty of space to add appointments or events if they come up. On some weeks, my particular Happy Planner has positive notes at the bottom of the page. Although this week’s border was in blue and doesn’t match my fall theme, I didn’t cover it up. It’s really up to you how much or how little you decorate your planner. If you have a busy week and don’t have time, don’t feel obligated. Decorating your planner should be fun.
I made some changes to the cover of my planner as well when I realized that my Happy Planner, my fitness and meal planner, and my vision book were all blue. It bothered me even though I love the color blue. I chose my Happy Planner for the pages inside not the cover and always planned to buy a new cover, but then I discovered this…
The cover is reversible. This will work for now…until I change my mind again…which could happen. However, I had another problem.
My 2017 Mini-Happy Planner for work is pink as well. I haven’t started using it yet, but it still bothered me. (I know. I have a problem. LOL.) So, guess what I did?
I flipped that cover over and added number stickers that say 2017. This will probably change because I really wanted red numbers but I didn’t have any. Whew. Now, I feel better. This is a great example how you can customize your Happy Planner to fit your needs.
I hope you have a great week.
Stay Blessed,
Barbie
