The August Ipsy bag just may be my favorite. It was illustrated by Michelle Phan, the founder of Ipsy. Gorgeous colors and soft imagery. These hues match my bedroom decor, so I’ll prop the pretty glam bag up on my dresser for decoration.
Sugar Highness is the theme for August, and that’s how I felt when I unveiled the items in my Ipsy bag. Just a reminder that Ipsy is a monthly subscription box. You pay ten bucks a month and get five beauty items.
I received two packets of gold black caviar goodness. Each packet contains a pad that exfoliates the skin while repairing it. Can’t wait to try these out.
I received yet another lipgloss this month… which is fine by me. Check out a post I did on my lipgloss obsession: My lipgloss addiction. This liquid lipstick is by Trust Fund Beauty, and it’s in the color, K, Bye. The lipgloss is vegan and cruelty-free. It’s also packed with lots of natural oils. This is a great nude color for any skin tone. Just use a brown liner and blend it out well for deeper skin colors.
IT Cosmetics no-tug, waterproof gel eyeliner. The name says it all. This liner goes on smoothly and it’s infused with anti-aging peptides, silk, and collagen. You can’t beat that.
I’ve been wanting to try Formula X nail polish by Sephora. It’s a bit pricey at $12.50 a bottle so I haven’t purchased it. Well, I got a free bottle this month, a very small bottle in the color, Dollface. This color is perfect for me because I prefer lighter sheer colors for manicures. Formula X is supposed to stay on forever, so I’ll test it out.
I also received a sample of Belif true cream-aqua bomb. I’m still looking for the perfect moisturizer so I’ll give this a shot.
Lastly, I received a sample of Peter Lamas complexion booster. This is a vegan, lightly tinted moisturizer cream. I’m always open to trying BB creams and this company has a great reputation.
Another amazing bag from Ipsy. I love these bags because I get to sample new products, some that are out of my budget. It’s fun to see what I get every month.
