This Martha Stewart recipe is a staple in my home after discovering it on YouTube. It’s actually an internet sensation. Check it out here Martha’s One Pot Pasta. The dish is meatless, easy to make, and it’s absolutely delicious.
You’re going to need a large deep skillet pan. I don’t have one big enough, so I use a wok and break the linguine in half. Put the linguine, sliced onion, sliced garlic, cut cherry tomatoes, salt and pepper in the large pan.
Add basil and four and a half cups of water. Feel free to use as little or as much of the ingredients as you want. Let your taste buds lead you.
Turn the stove heat up high. Martha Stewart says the pasta should cook and the water reduce in eleven minutes. It always takes mine longer. I leave a little water in the pan to keep the noodles from getting too dry. I added dried basil to this batch because I didn’t have enough fresh basil for my taste.
When it’s done, plate the food, and drizzle it with olive oil and add lots of parmesan cheese. I would suggest being liberal with the salt, pepper, olive oil and parmesan cheese since they essentially flavor the linguine. I hope you enjoy this dish as much as I do.
Stay Blessed,
