July’s Ipsy bag didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The umbrellas are cute, but the silver material was a turnoff. This type of material creases too much for me, so I gave it to someone who could get some use out of it.
This month’s theme is Hot Summer Nights. Let’s see what Ipsy sent me to ignite my summer nights.
Looks interesting. Let’s examine the goodies.
I like Not Soap Radio products, especially when they’re lemon scented lotion. Lemon smells so good in candles and creams. Yummy. I wish this sample size had been bigger because I’ve already used it up.
I generally don’t like when Ipsy sends me The Balm samples because they’re so small. But this eyeshadow is a matte cranberry color which looks fabulous on people with brown eyes like mine.
Feeling good about this Thrive waterproof eyeliner in the color, Lauren/jet black. It has a built-in sharpener and a smudger on the end.
I’m excited about this OFRA lipliner in the color, Maya which is a brick red.
A perfect match for my coloring. Brick red lips will be great on a hot summer night. This lipliner is definitely in step with this month’s theme.
Lastly, I received a Luxie Beauty small eye angle brush. The neat thing is this brush is hypo-allergenic and it’s coated with an anti-bacterial solution.
I have to say that I’m happy with everything I received in my July Ipsy bag. The monthly subscription for Ipsy is only $10. I think it’s well worth the moolah.
Stay Blessed,
