I set a budget a couple of weeks ago. Received the coupon last week. I simmered all weekend waiting for Monday, June 6th…the first day of the Bath & Body Works Semi-Annual sale. It all began at 4:30 as I hobbled out of work today. (I’m still wearing a walking boot.) I knew I had to do it today, the first day of the sale, so I slid into my car and headed to Bath and Body Works.
To be honest, I really began shopping on Sunday when the sale started online. I quickly filled my cart full of products and started to check out. Something stopped me. Maybe it was the nagging feeling that I wasn’t getting the best deals. I wanted to stock up and buy as much I could while spending the least amount of money. So I decided to wait…until Monday, June 6th and I’m glad I did.
I saved $173 by using a $10 off $40 coupon…and I walked away with twenty-six products.
Here’s how I did it. I concentrated on the 75% off items where there were loads of great products buried in the bins.
These hand soaps were $1.35 a piece. They’re normally $6.50. Thank goodness I adore all of these scents. Pumpkin is one of my favorite hand soaps. I might save it until the fall.
I found these little hand gels at the bottom of a bin. They’re 44 cents a piece. Of course, I had to buy the Pumpkin Pecan Waffles. It smells so yummy.
I’m still well stocked on my shower gels, so I concentrated on moisturizers. I got lucky because some of my favorite scents happened to be marked down to 75% off. The Beautiful Day, Be Joyful, and Iced Pear Margarita were $2.70. Freesia is an old retired favorite of mine so I splurged and spent $3.13 on the body cream.
The candles are normally $22.50 at full price. Most of them are marked down to $12 for the sale and with the $10 off $40 coupon it’s a great deal. But I wanted more… I wanted dirt cheap and I kept digging until I found it. These babies were $4.70 a piece. I happen to love Vanilla Bean Noel and Beautiful Day. I decided to give Paris a try. I’ve already begun burning it and it’s scrumptious. These scents are out of season, but I know there will be another $12 candle sale soon and then I’ll get some new scents for summer. I’ve got my eye on the Strawberry Vanilla.
My last bargain were these wallflower refills. I got ten for $1.35 a piece. The scents were limited: Georgia Peach, Alpine Cheer, Fresh Cotton, Sparkling Pear Riesling and some bottles with no tags. I’m adventurous and not picky about scents so these worked for me.
This is the best Bath and Body Works haul I’ve ever had yet. The key is to shop the 75% off bins and use the $10 off $40 coupon. If you don’t have the coupon, download Shopular.com on your phone and pull up Bath and Body Works. Good luck.
Stay Blessed,
