I’m Barbie. Yes, that’s my real name and yes, I’m named after  a Barbie doll. I created this blog as a way to explore lifestyle issues, share beauty and health tips, and my love of literature. I have a quirky personality and I enjoy making people laugh. You’ll see lots of makeup tips, recipes, shopping and just about everything else. I love to read and write and I’m a movie buff, so I’ll post book and movie reviews as well. I have a Masters in Creative Writing and more than fifteen years of journalism experience, so I look forward to sharing writing tips and learning from you as well.
